FAMILY MEDICAL LEAVE ACT (FMLA)
History: FMLA passed with bipartisan support in January 1993 and was signed by President William (Bill) Jefferson Clinton as the first accomplishment of his new administration. It was a historic day for women and families, and one of our proudest moments as a Nation.
If Family Medical Leave. whether intermittent or consecutive, is needed at any time of the school year, please notify your campus principal or department director immediately upon knowledge of your leave status. The following form must be submitted to the Human Resource Department.
