Our Girl's Powerlifting team had a strong showing in Robstown on Saturday. They all exceeded our expectations and had new personal records. We had two of our girls who stood out because of the amount of weight they added to their totals. Melanie Garza increased her totals by 40 lbs and our senior Kimberly Almazan left it all out on the platform with a 60 lb increase in her totals. The girl's powerlifting season has come to an end but the journey is just beginning. Here are the results from the regional meet:
