Because the safety of our children is of utmost priority, SMISD would like to inform the community of a vehicle incident at approximately 4:00 p.m. today.

A speeding motorist driving on Farm Road 2556 lost control of their vehicle and rolled over.

Our SMISD bus was in close proximity to the incident; however, our school bus was not involved.

All SMISD children on board are safe.
