Dear Parents, On Monday, August 10, 2020, the Cameron County Judge and Cameron County Health Authority issued an order delaying In-person Instruction for private and public schools until after September 28, 2020. In addition, Santa Maria ISD submitted an Operation Connectivity Order through Texas Education Agency (TEA) and Region Four to provide internet access to students who do not have internet access at home. Verizon is still in the process of completing the network that will be servicing our area. Therefore, it does not appear that we will have the necessary resources to begin online instruction on August 24, 2020.
